November Update

Hello to all on ablankpage,

I thought it was time for a brief update. We are now at 1645 participants and are represented in 32 countries. The messages continue to lift and inspire me, and I would like to thank you all for your willingness join in the fun.

Thanks as well to the blog on Andrew Kemp’ s Quantum K website which has lead a lot of people to our site. Take a look at the Quantumk.co.uk site if you haven’t already.

There is more and more talk of the shift in consciousness and it is fun to watch how many are being gently exposed to some pretty new ideas. This was brought home to me as I decided to take a break from some of my more weighty metaphysical reading and enjoy some time off with a good old fashioned novel. Without much thought I bought a copy of Dan Brown’s new “number one best seller” The Lost Symbol.

I am not sure how many people will read this book but I know it is more than 8000! When Dan Brown referenced Lynne McTaggart’s Intention Experiment on page 56 I started to pay attention! Although many of the concepts we play with daily may still seem ‘way out there’ to many, they are slowly filtering down to a very wide audience. I read on and was delighted to find the following passage. I think this is a very elegant description of an idea that, although familiar to us and central to ablankpage, must have been new to many of his readers:

“As you know, this little grain of sand has mass. A very small mass, but mass nonetheless.”

Trish nodded.

“And because this grain of sand has mass, it therefore exerts gravity. Again, too small to feel, but there.”

“Right.”

“Now,” Katherine said, if we take trillions of these sand grains and let them attract one another to form…say, the moon, then their combined gravity is enough to move entire oceans and drag the tides back and forth across our planet.”

Trish had no idea where this was heade, but she liked what she was hearing.

“So let’s take a hypothetical,” Katherine said discarding the sand grain. “What if I told you that a thought …any tiny idea that forms in your mind…actually has mass? What if I told you that a thought is an actual thing, a measurable entity, with a measurable mass? A miniscule mass, of course, but mass nonetheless. What are the implications?”

“Hypothetically speaking? Well, the obvious implications are…if a thought has mass, then a thought exerts gravity and can pull things toward it.”

Katherine smiled. “You’re good. Now take it a step further. What happens if many people start focusing on the same thought? All the occurrences of that same thought begin to merge into one, and the cumulative mass of this thought begins to grow. And therefore, its gravity grows.”

“Okay.”

“Meaning…if enough people begin thinking the same thing, then the gravitational force of that thought becomes tangible… and it exerts actual force.” Katherine winked. “And it can have a measurable effect in our physical world.”

It’s great to think of the number of people exposed to this thinking…and for any of you wanting to read the book I won’t mention the ending!

The following morning I heard a Capital Radio DJ use the phrase morphogenetic field to describe how fashions catch on…hardly a common use of language and probably unnoticed but still an interesting subliminal passage of information!

As another side note I heard that doctors in the UK are concerned that less than 50% of those eligible are taking up the swine flu vaccination. Despite the continual scare stories and propaganda people are present enough to make their own choices. This will make for very interesting times. Imagine a world of people deciding what is best for themselves… that is exactly where we are heading…

On a more personal note the past couple of months have seen lots of change for us and I can only sit back in wonder at the speed and certainty of the change around me. No point resisting, just go with the flow. One result is that we have established a new company which you can read about on www.acreativespace.org .

Please let me know if you would rather not receive these updates and feel free to pass it on to anyone who might find it of interest,

Many thanks,

Bill.

July update

Hello to all at ablankpage,

I have been a bit slow in sending out the latest update, but I doubt that I am alone in noticing the pace of change is incredible at the moment. Some of the work on fractal evolution explains the acceleration of time, but however comfortable I am with the concept, the experience can still leave me a little disoriented!

As I write this we have reached 1576 participants, with 28 countries represented. My initial impatience to ‘grow’ the number as quickly as possible has been replaced with a gentle acceptance and enjoyment of the process. Having said that, I really appreciate the enthusiasm of many of your responses and on a very selfish note the constant stream of e-mails sustains me when some of my other endeavours feel like hard work. So, despite trying to emphasise that this idea is not an individual process I have to confess to enjoying the benefits of all of your contributions…thank you all.

We have been asked by a number of groups to come and talk about our work and we are always happy to do so. This year we have given presentations and workshops in Stockholm, New York, Kent and Cambridge, and will be in Scotland and Wales later in the year. If you would like to talk to or meet us please drop us a line.

So after a year has the world changed for the better? Well it has certainly changed and will continue to do so. I read someone describe the last 12 months as the year of exposure, and, though traumatic for many it was particularly tough for those with something to hide…be it a British MP or a bank’s balance sheet. The long term effect of the ‘credit crunch’, continued wars, swine flu and all the other stories we choose to scare ourselves with are uncertain. But then again everything is and ever was.

My interest in the ablankpage project is not to try to control, prevent or channel change. Change is the lifeblood of creativity. My idea for ablankpage is that when faced with change we react consciously. My feeling is that when we repeat behaviours which we have seen fail in the past we are reacting from stress rather than reason. Afghanistan is a perfect case in point. Ignore the politics, look at the history. Better still, forget the history and start with ablankpage! If we could leave our prejudices, resentments, feuds and baggage behind us and respond to what we face now I am sure we could make some exciting choices.

We may find the choices we make end up being the same, but as long as they are made free from stress and are an authentic expression of who and where we are collectively then that is all we can ask. Those choices will reflect our collective consciousness and will be perfect for where we are. The possibility of ablankpage is that we can make those choices free from stress.

The year of exposure has raised some interesting questions and we face a period of huge opportunity. Our economic models are nothing more than the science of scarcity. How to allocate scarce resources? This has inevitably led us to the misconception that accumulation equates to abundance. I believe it to be the exact opposite of abundance and the root cause of the credit crunch. Accumulation is based on fear of the future, a fundamental lack of trust both of yourself and your world.

To shift beyond this limiting system required that it fail in a big way to enforce new thinking. We are in that place now. If we are stressed, scared and lack faith in ourselves we will rebuild those old systems, but this time in the full knowledge that they are built on quicksand. If we can look clearly at this opportunity we can construct something which serves humanity a little better. This is not to demonise the systems which have delivered us to this point in time. In fact we should celebrate them. However, this is an opportunity to move beyond them. If we choose to rebuild with the same model we will experience the same consequences, only much sooner and with fewer options. Remember how time is accelerating? All cycles are going to get shorter!

Finally, I am going to attempt to make the web-site a little clearer and any suggestions would be gratefully received. I honestly believe that it is the frequency of the idea and the current participants which act as the attractor. If that isn’t right there are no words which will do the job, but I am asked a number of questions on a regular basis and so will attempt to answer these. Also let me know if you would rather not receive these updates and I will remove you from the list.

Many thanks

January Update...the time is right

Hello to all ablankpagers,

I thought it about time to update eveybody on our progress and share a few thoughts. We now have over 1300 people signed up to ablankpage and as ever it is a delight to open the e-mail each morning and see the list grow! The messages are great and I wish it was possible to share them with you all...in fact maybe thats a possibility for a new page on the web-site. Anyhow, if I had to summarise the content of most of the messages it would be covered by two words...love and peace.

It certainly feels that ablankpage has arrived at the right time. The world seems to be 'enjoying' its fair share of stress at the moment. And guess what? When the world gets stressed we react in the same old ways. The remarkable thing about the reactions to the challenges we face are that they all seem to try to return things to how they were. Surely if the current economic turmoil tells us one thing it is that the relentless pursuit of growth has to eventually exhaust itself. What we need is new thinking, new ideas. The trouble is that when we are stressed we can only repeat the same old behaviours.

Systems break down for a reason. Normally because they have come to the end of their useful life. Entropy is certainly one of the universal laws we should have learnt to respect. The truth is that every system that ever was comes to an end and in so doing presents opportunity. Desperately struggling to keep things as they were is as futile as it is undesirable. The important thing is that as we build new systems and new societies we do so from conscious rational thought, not sub-conscious reflexive reaction. I believe we are in a time of great opportunity, I just hope we can remain present enough to respond rather than react!

This is what ablankpage hopes to facilitate. What emerges should be a true reflection of who we really are. To express who we really are we cannot be stressed, for if stressed we will simply become more protective, less able to learn, less willing to listen, less willing to embrace change and opportunity. Just look at the banks...they are stressed so they stop lending, which stifles the growth on which their model depends, which in turn puts them under more pressure to 'protect' their balance sheets. If nations follow their usual stressed behaviour they will be less tolerant of foreign workers or imports, they will retract and become hostile. We have tried that cycle a million times and keep ending up in the same place. This could well be the opportunity to break that pattern!

What emerges is less important than the spirit from which it emerges. If we can move forward from a position of reason rather than stress it could be very exciting.

So far we are 1300. Please tell anyone who may wish to join us. If we all tell five people we can get to 8000 very quickly. If our thinking is right then it could be fantastic. If our thinking is wrong, well at least we are thinking!

Much love and optimism,

Bill

Hello ablankpagers!

I have promised to keep you up to date with our progress and let you know what is happening here at ablankpage and so here goes.

First of all I must thank you all and say how overwhelmed we have been by the response to this idea. Anders has recently added a couple of pages to the web-site. One is to make it easier for people to sign up and the other is to keep a running total of paricipants. Any visitors to that page will have noticed that we have over 650 people signed up and the momentum certainly seems to be building. The geographical spread is wonderful too. One obvious gap is China so if anybody has any connections dont be embarassed to get them involved!

It has been really interesting hearing the feedback from people who have joined us. I hope we have explained clearly that the bio-resonance programme we run to support this project is not aimed at individuals but at the collective stress of all participants. We are not trying to change anybody we are just trying to create the space that allows their true expression. In that context it should not have surprised us how many reports of improved relationships we have had and the word harmony seems to be a popular one.

Another common observation is that people are feeling calmer and more centred despite the best efforts of the media and world economy to scare us to death! The world is clearly changing and what we need is a reasoned thoughtful response to the challenges we face. If we react from fear and stress we will play out the same patterns of stress and self interest. We do not feel that ablankpage has arrived at this time by accident. The chaos the world is currently experiencing is the seed of creativity. It is obvious to even the most entrenched amongst us that we need new thinking to move us forward. The aim of ablankpage is not to guide or judge that thinking but to create the environment that ensures that the thinking is clear, authentic and from love and growth, rather than the usual default position of fear and protection.

We were lucky enough to be in California recently to listen to Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden speak and at that conference we learnt of a similar project to ablankpage instigated by the Heart Math Institute. We have come across anumber of other projects of a similar nature and are encouraged that we are not a lone voice. However, all of the other projects we have found  involve focus of intention in a very conscious way, but we are very aware that much of our creation, particularly our destructive creation, comes from subconscious processing which,  unfortunately still dominates our thinking. We believe that using our programme will subtley remove the collective stress which pushes us into that unconscious reactive state allowing more time to be spent in constructive conscious creation. In that state I think we are going to produce something very beautiful indeed.

We at ablankpage have certainly been experiencing a creative surge and new projects seem to be popping up all over the place. Our latest idea is called Creative Space and is aiming to bring our de-stress programme into businesses, projects and organisations to allow them to hold the energy of their authentic expression. Our roots in Edutherapy have allowed us to work with individuals and families, whilst ablankpage aims to create the right space for that expression to be free to evolve. Creative Space will look to support the structures that emerge from that individual expression, be they businesses, projects or just ideas. Whatever happens we are having fun and would love to hear of your ideas. The website has a forum or contact us directly, we would love to hear from you,

Thanks for your time and your efforts with ablankpage and please help spread the word. As you have experienced, it is easy, it is free, and it is wonderful,

Lots of love,

Bill

p.s. People have expressed concern that their details may be passed on to others. We are not a commercial organisation and have no reason to do so. The details we ask for are to be included in the list for the collective programme we run and will remain with us alone.

Just a few thoughts.

Hello and welcome to ablankpage,

my name is Bill and I will be sending an occassional e-mail to those of you have joined abklankpage. In part it will be to keep you in touch with progress, but also to share answers to some of your questions and to communicate any changes in our thinking.

Most of you have become aware of ablankpage through either your connection with Anders or with Edutherapy. It was our work at Edutherapy which gave us the idea of ablankpage. Working with children with learning and development "issues" we found that removing stress from their lives would remove the "issues". Children were having trouble learning, behaving or communicating because they were stressed! That stress maybe developmental, environmental, metabolic, emotional, nutritional, genetic, epi-genetic, social, the list is long! The bio-resonance programme we developed has proved a powerful means of removing stress, particularly those stresses of which we are unaware.

As our work grew we started to work with families and small groups to remove the collective stresses that were necessary to move all the individuals within the group forward. The effects of the programme can be dramatic with big changes in behaviour and performance, but are more often subtle. As individuals or groups become less stressed they become more likely to respond to their situation and process information in a reasoned thoughtful way rather than the old reactive patterns which lead to the repetition of old behaviours which have served them poorly in the past. This produces a more authentic expression of the individual and resultant choices will be more beneficial to the individuals needs. In effect they make conscious choices as opposed to reflex responses. They do what is right for them as opposed to what they think they "should" do. People find themselves doing the "right" thing for the "right" reasons and are more productive, happy and authentic as a result.

The effects of ablankpage are also going to be subtle but we believe they will have a great power. Whereas Edutherapy is aimed at removing stress at an individual or small group level ablankpage is targeting a more general collective stress. It will not work on individuals but will aim to create an environment where the individual is able to express themselves without fear or stress. It is like presenting an artist with a blank canvas, all the materials they need and no rules.

At the moment our expression is collectively suppressed by a million "shoulds". The shoulds mean that we are free to create within certain guidelines. In effect we can colour the picture but are not allowed to draw it. We are are all diminished because of the resultant compromise. Ablankpage aims to create the space or canvas in which we, the artists, can create a true reflection of ourselves. I have no idea what picture will result but I know that free from stress our expression will be beautiful and to the good of all. Free from stress we will inevitably see how connected we all are.

So far over 200 people have joined ablankpage and the more participants we attract the stronger the frequency we will generate. The more powerful the signal the more we will see our dreams and ideas come to realisation. It would be great if we could all share our experiences and I will be adding a forum page to the web-site.

Speak to you soon,

Problem Solved!

Problem Solved ! Reading through my last blog reminds me of how quickly we are moving. I have now re-written most of the site as a consequence of last weeks discussions with Tracy and Anders. We were stuck in a place of how to fund the project, how to organise the companies that would be necessary to process the sale of the docking stations and generally feeling blocked as to how to move forward.

The trouble was we were trying to shoe-horn a new idea into an old system, and as Einstein once said, you cant solve a problem using the thinking that created it. That might not be exactly what he said but you know what I mean. As an example lets stick with Einstein. You would you not send him back to the same hairdresser to sort out his hair.

Ablankpage looks to remove the stresses that blocks us from our true expression. Our lives today have numerous stressors which we can always fall back on to explain why we cannot do or be exactly what we would choose. Money is the biggy, "if only I had a million I would..." Family is another classic, "once the kids have left home I will..."Fear is the weapon of choice of the media, "look how dangerous the world is" is the mantra which feeds all of our anxieties...What about beauty, weight and celebrity, we are always made to feel somehow inferior, imperfect.

Whatever the excuse we always find a reason not to stand in our power. As Nelson Mandela said, "It is not our darkness that scares us, it is our light..." And hear we were at ablankpage holding ourselves back by sitting in an old financial model. We were present enough to recognise this fact and on the realisation that it was suddenly hard work and no fun we decided to change our direction.

The basis of this project was the use of docking stations and that was the block. So lets remove the need for a docking station and make the whole project free. And thats what we have done. You can still use a docking station or e-capsule but it is optional. I am sure we will evolve further from this point and I have no idea where the next turn is but I know we will be guided if we keep responding to what feels good and moving away from what feels bad. Its as simple as that really.

Creating the space

Ablankpage is changing. Every day, every conversation, every experience seems to have some sort of bearing on this project and it is becoming clear that the usual rules of time and causality are not relevant to our progress. We have a strong feeling that the end point has already been achieved in some way and that this was a necessary condition to allow the project to evolve.

The point is that Ablankpage is about creating a space for creativity and self expression. Remove the stress and see what unfolds. We have noticed that since the conception of Ablankpage we have experienced a surge of creative energy in the many projects in which we are invovled, including Ablankpage itself. As I said before, its as if the idea itself was enough to create the space into which our idea could grow.

We are now looking at how we move forward and have a totally open mind. We are ready to challenge the notion that we need 8000 docking stations, but are equally happy to move toward that target until an alternative presents itself. The finance issues are unresolved, yet we are confident that the right solution will come to the fore. At the moment we are funding the project from our own pockets but this is obviously a limiting factor. This is not a venture for profit but at the same time it we feel it is important that it should be capable of supporting itself.

In the space we are hoping to create people, not projects such a Ablankpage, will take on the role of space creators. Ablankpage will make itself redundant. This is not a business. Our plan is our own obsolence. Create the space for creation and you will be amazed at what is possible.

I hope this makes some sense!

One person at a time?

Whilst training to become a kinesiologist my Touch for Health instructor sensed my frustration that such an effective tool was largely unknown and not very widely available. She told me that the process was perfect and it was simply a case of "one person at a time".

That was a number of years ago and I am happy to say that my work with Edutherapy has highlighted that it is both possible and necessary to transecnd the "one person at a time" model.

We often found that when we were able to move a child out of their diagnosis the effect on other family members could be significant. This was particularly obvious in relationships involving a high degree of dependency, such as a mother with an autistic child. We saw that when a child could no longer be described as autistic the mother would often struggle to re-define the relationship and in some cases we would even see the mother's immune system give up. Interestingly, as the mother suffered the child would often regress as if innately attempting to restore the original dynamic.

It was clear that moving a child alone was not enough. We had to create an environment that could accomodate that child's development and that meant moving the whole family, and if possible their environment beyond the family. This lead to the development of a programme, delivered using a docking station, which aimed to remove stress from the whole family and their environment. This programme is now the preferred way of working with the children we see and effectively allows us to move beyond the "one person at a time" model.

The obvious extension is that we can work not just with families but with whole communities, and indeed we actually use our programme on a number of businesses including our own. But why stop there? Why not give the world a chance to express and create free from stress? This is the possibility that a blank page looks to explore. We hold no opinion or preference as to how this world will look, but we trust that without stress and fear a virtuous circle of creativity and growth will emerge.
